I have wanted to have a pastry shop for many years. The concept for Sarah’s Homebaked began in 2021 when it became clear to my husband and I that he could not eat baked goods from other bakeries, due to his extreme sensitivity to any and all preservatives (which we were unaware were in these baked goods), and which use quick baking methods that cut corners. We learned that many of these goodies are brought in frozen, and then just “freshly baked” at a shop. I began my bake shop to bring natural and delicious homemade sweet and savory goodies to you that are truly made from scratch. It is my passion to bring together the freshest, locally sourced, and highest quality ingredients, that you can truly taste. I use only 100% pure raw honey, real organic milk, farm fresh eggs, real sweet cream butter, and cream that all come directly from local farms, and Berkey filtered water. I use traditional baking methods, which is the healthy way to bake, such as using natural sourdough yeast starters in all of my doughs and breads. I take extra time and care from start to finish to bake everything handmade from scratch in small batches, with no cheap high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, mixes, fillers, or anything from a box or can - the old-fashioned way! You deserve to know what is in your food, and to eat with confidence!
